Jeff grew up in Southeast Ohio and learned to fish on the Stillwater river with his Uncle and brothers. Moving to Arkansas almost 20 years ago now and his father in law took him under his wing and really taught Jeff how to bass fish, which has now become his greatest passion. Competitive kayak fishing came into Jeff’s life in 2011 after buying his first sit on top and he has never looked back. Jeff has qualified the last three seasons for the KBF National Championship, Tournament of Champions, and travels the region/country fishing as many tournaments as his schedule allows.
“Using the power of social media we have grown the sport leaps and bounds here in Arkansas”, Jeff told us. He is one of the founders of the Natural State Kayak Anglers and helped create the Arkansas State Championship event. Jeff’s day job is working with veterans at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, as an Air Force veteran myself he can’t think of a more rewarding career. We truly appreciate Jeff’s service to our country.
