Leaning Bar Brings Lightweight Stability to Kayaks
HOUSTON – May 25, 2016 – Kayak fishermen have another tool at their disposal with YakGear’s latest innovation, the StandNCast. Now available for purchase, the StandNCast leaning bar allows paddlers a stable way to stand aboard their watercraft while casting their lines or reeling in a catch.
The lightweight bar, made of anodized aluminum, accommodates any kayak with a top width of 22-37 inches. Its streamline design is built to suit a variety of Railblaza products, allowing kayakers to customize it to their individual specifications. The StandNCast’s top crossbar comes integrated with two Railblaza G-Hold 50s to hold the user’s paddle. Meanwhile, incorporating the Railblaza RailMount 32-41 allows the kayaker to add options including drink holders, rod holders and the entire line of Railblaza accessories.
Customization and function are key in the watersport world, YakGear President Bill Bragman said.
“People need products they can depend on to do the job right, but they also need to be able to put their own spin on the things on their kayaks,” he explained. “The StandNCast delivers on both. We’re excited to get it out there and offer folks a better experience on the water.”
The StandNCast sells for $189, and is available through the YakGear website and through local YakGear dealers.
